Share the Joy with Cookbook Give-Away #2

It’s time for Give-Away #2 of the Thanksgivukkah season and this one contains true confessions from the self described “bride who knew nothing”, Jamie Geller.

In her most recent volume, JOY OF KOSHER: FAST, FRESH FAMILY RECIPES, Geller shares candid, lighthearted tales of her mishaps and naive assumptions in her kitchen as a young bride. But of greater value is her useful format of sharing basic recipes for every course you can imagine, followed by variations meant to help you “dress them up for entertaining” or “dress them down for everyday”.

She shares plenty of traditional recipes like Basic Pull-Apart Challah, followed by variations on the basic dough recipe (pictured here). There are loads of non-traditional recipes, too, including one of my favorites: Blue Cheese, Pear and Arugula Pizza.

The volume is useful for it’s broad range of approachable recipes and lighthearted, warm spirit. It is infused with love of Jewish culinary and holiday traditions while inspiring with more contemporary ideas for quick meals meant to satisfy busy families.

The Give-away is easy to enter.

Simply leave a comment below, telling me which of your most often made dishes you need new ideas for.  Are you seeking fresh inspiration for roasted chicken, chocolate cake with new flavor profiles, ways to eat more greens? I want to know!

Contest ends at 11 PM on November 24.

Winner will be notified on November 25 and will be sent  one volume of JOY OF KOSHER: FAST, FRESH FAMILY RECIPES by Jamie Geller.  I promise to pop it in the mail on time for you to enjoy for Chanukah. Better yet, it would be great to share the joy by giving this one away as a gift.
