Chicken Tagine Sure to Warm Winter Nights

After tasting Einat Admony’s Spicy Chicken Tagine over couscous at Kish Kash in NYC, I had to ask for the recipe to share with you. If you’re looking for crispy and flavorful chicken that would be easy to make for a crowd on New Year’s Eve or over winter break, throw this one in your oven.

This moist chicken dish embodies the flavors of the Middle East with plenty of garlic and onions and a classic combination of spices including harissa*, cumin and turmeric. If you’re not game to make your own harissa, order a few jars from our favorite Middle East spice duo at NY Shuk.

With an easy prep and 90 minutes in the oven, you may want to make this warming and authentic Moroccan recipe part of your weekly rotation.
