We’ve Got News!

Notice anything new today? We’ve updated our look and plenty more! After nearly five years and over 500 posts, Kosher Like Me was ripe for an update!

What does that mean for you?

Kosher Like Me is going to be easier to read on all of your portable devices. You’ll finally be able to read this blog easily and comfortably without adjusting your screen to see everything at a glance. CHECK!

I’ve finally created a proper index of every post! That means you will be able to search for ANY recipe we’ve posted, any cookbook, product or restaurant we’ve touted, any holiday you’re preparing for. CHECK!

And finally, we’ve updated our look so that it better reflects my aesthetic and our mission to bring you relevant, engaging, varied and useable content. In a world of clicking and scanning words and images, we are often interrupted by flashing ads and too much to look at. We’ve left plenty of white space space in this new design. We want you to relax and savor the photos and the words, not feel bombarded by them. CHECK!

And lastly, we’ve landed on a tag line that represents what we hope to provide to our readers.

Be sure to explore it all and let me know what you think. Want to see more of certain types of posts? I would love to hear your thoughts. Leave a comment below or e-mail me.

Many thanks to Rebecca Shepley, designer extraordinaire, and ex-Westporter. I wish we had met while she lived in my zip code. Her design instinct and aesthetic helped me to elevate my own. Ask me for her contact if you need a brilliant designer.

Huge love and gratitude to Marissa Latshaw, soup maker extraordinaire at All Souped Up and Terri Zimmer at The Copy Shoppe, who brainstormed with me, diagramed my thoughts and synthesized it all with insight and sensitivity.

And finally, thanks to Nick Molina, who is responsible for re-designing all of the tech features that were so long overdue and for quelling my stress each step of the way.

Personal recommendations are key to building our businesses. Ask me and I’ll tell you more about why I loved working with my team!
